Wedding Preview

My friend Sara Stellmach married Steven Casamento on Friday in St. Charles, Ill., and I was lucky enough to be their photographer and spend the day with the whole family. We got over to the Stellmach house around 11 a.m. and didn’t finish up until 10 p.m. It was a long day and it’s going to be a long editing process, but it’s worth it for a friend and to remember how happy she was Friday and how lucky and happy she and Steven are together. There was a lot of love in this day and I know that there is only more to come. Best wishes to the Bride and Groom who are already chillin’ in Belize! Here’s a preview of the day and there will be more to come at some point!

Sara shares a moment with Winston who go to make the trip from Phoenix to Chicago for the wedding. No puppies at the wedding, but Winston and Charlotte were mentioned throughout the ceremony.

Sara had been trying not to cry all morning and when we got to the park to do some photos of the girls, she lost it when she saw her Nana's locket on the flowers. There were some important people missing from the wedding day and they did all they could to honor their memories. Sara and her Dad share a moment together at the park as he tries to calm her down.

Sara and her sisters released balloons as part of the ceremony to honor the memory of their mother. It was a very touching and moving part of the ceremony and tissues were pulled immediately.

The moment we all wait for - I now pronounce you husband and wife.
